For three weeks leading up to Friday 25th September all the young people were involved in preparing produce grown at the allotment for sale at our MacMillan charity stall in Clare. The students created chutneys, jams and a variety of sugar free bakes to sell to members of the public. We held raffles and pestered passers by to contribute to the charity. All staff and young people joined in with fancy dress and the day raised £215.65 for the MacMillan Cancer Support Charity. Well done to the whole school and thank you to the people who supported us. We had many requests for our produce to be sold throughout the year and we will continue to raise money in support of The Yellow Shed Project and a number of other charities.
