The end of the academic year, has come around so quickly, again! As is always the case at this time of the year, older students are moving on and we are welcoming several new students into The Yellow House.
Staffing changes, mean that we say goodbye to Peter and thank him for all of his hard work and contributions in the form of canoe trips and “arty stuff” that he has made to the school, since joining us over six years ago. Francine will be joining us as Head of Art and we look forward to her input, knowledge and ideas, not just in art but across the whole of the school. Welcome Francine!
Work experience is on the horizon for several students, from the start of next term and the allotment will start to wind down after another “fruitful” and productive season. Well done to Nick and his crew!
Almost all of our students have been involved successfully, in national examinations, a brilliant whole school visit to Duxford, the canoe trips to Cambridge and end of year barbecue. It’s wonderful to see the willingness to participate in whole school activities and visits into the community. A massive well done to you all!
Our Sible window “Spring and Summer Garden” looks wonderful. Thank you to all contributors.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our leavers well for their future and look forward to hearing from them, as they settle into the next, exciting phase, of their lives. I hope everyone has a well-earned rest, over the summer holidays and returns safe and well when we start back on September 5th 2016.
